A collection of design created with passion
As spontaneous ideas are formed by the day, it made me want to cooperate with people and help each other realizing designs together. As a designer myself bursting with ideas as I fly around the world. I get inspiration by other cultures and the local contacts. My life is based on traveling and I made a lot of contacts around the world. So it started with building my Honda CB500 into a cafe racer with materials and designs from around the world.
The quote Carpe Diem was used by my grandfather and later my father and now me. It has now become a life motto. The Carpe Diem logo and fuel tank was made by: Kerkus in Kuala Lumpur. The leather seat is made by the owner of Café de la Fonda in Bogota. The Wrench kings from the Netherlands reconstructed the frame. When this project is finished I want to join the famous Distinguished Gentleman's ride in the Netherlands. After this project, more projects followed, like the Champagne-Pupitre- floor lamp idea was born while on a roadtrip in France. The mansion I bought is a project which will be reconstructed from a ruin to a glorious 1900 mansion and recently we focussed on rebuilding my Chevrolet Suburban into a van and tour through Europe.
I feel lucky to share my ideas and inspiration with you. I will be grateful if you follow my blogs and social media. Let's keep in touch if we can be of service for each other.
